Your hair standing straight up, your synthetic t-shirt or trousers being pulled towards a place you don't want it to go. Even touching another human being might be a risk when you've been walking on a synthetic carpet.
Always have a dryer cloth in your pocket. You know, one of these small cloths with laundry softener used in the laundry dryer.
Just wipe over your hair, or the affected item and the problem is solved.
