The time between christmas and the new year is for movie theatres in most cities a far too quiet time.

That's not the matter at the cinema here.
For 5 euros you can see good movies at times no one would otherwise go to the movies.
Parents love to send their children off in the morning to see a movie at 10 or 10.30, or have a quiet lunch while their kids enter the cinema at 12.30.
